This paper forms part of the ‘2020 Children and Young People’s Workforce Strategy’ suite. Its purpose is to set out the key points from the evidence which was considered by the Children’s Workforce Expert Group over the summer and autumn of 2008. The paper reflects the Expert Group’s views of the evidence and sets out the challenges identified by the Group.
