C4EO is looking for examples of effective practice of Adoption
C4EO is interested in local area experience of initiatives - involving Local Authorities
and all relevant partner agencies in the public, voluntary and/or private sector
– which have been introduced to improve the wellbeing and life chances of children
and young people currently in care by:
- Increasing the number of children appropriately placed for adoption where this is
in their best interest.
- Improving the speed with which decisions are made and reducing delays in the adoption
system.
- Encouraging potential adopters to enter the system.
- Improving the quality of adoption support.
