Supporting the BIG Lottery application for the Early Intervention - 05/11/2012
On the 31st October 2012 The Big Lottery Fund (BLF)* announced a major new ‘Early Years Intervention’. The project aims to effect a step change in the use of preventative approaches for young children and their families and to bring about an improvement in the life chances of children. Adoption, Fostering and permanency planning, new C4EO services announced - 22/10/2012
C4EO wants to support Local Authorities in responding to the government's action plan for adoption and to consider how they can work in partnership to achieve permanency in a timely way for all children. We are now well placed to provide sector specialist ‘peer to peer’ Tailored Support to help review practice and partnership arrangements with the all the key local stakeholders including the courts and CAFCASS with a view to moving forward to implement the reform of adoption and to improve the quality and timeliness of care planning and routes to permanence.
