What is C4EO?
The Centre for Excellence and Outcomes in Children and Young People's Services (C4EO)
is a Government funded programme. We conduct research and use expert knowledge from
local areas to find out 'what works' in making things better for children and young
people. We then provide this information to everyone who works with children and
young people. Our website brings together research information and examples of the
best ways of doing things.
At C4EO we believe that children and young people's views matter greatly if children's
services are to improve. That's why we have included children's views in all our
themes. Our work on gathering the views of children and young people is led by one
of our core partners, the National Children's Bureau (NCB) who have years of experience in meaningful participation.
What you will find on these pages
- children and young people's views on each of the themes
- key messages from our research
- links to reports and websites if you want to know more
C4EO would like to thank the young people from Young NCB and Brent Youth Parliament for taking part in the focus group and helping us develop these web pages.
