Core team capability and expertise

To ensure all elements of the programme are delivered, C4EO has a small core team of highly experienced professionals with many years of working in the children's sector.

This team is led by Christine Davies CBE, a former Director of Children's Services for Telford and Wrekin (2003). Under her leadership the council was awarded Beacon status for 'Integrating Children's Services' and 'Early Intervention (Children at Risk)' – the only council to have been given both awards. Christine was awarded the CBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours 2005 for her outstanding contribution to education.

C4EO has found that operating with a small core team of experienced children's services professionals working with a consortium of established charitable sector partners has meant that it has been possible to be very dynamic in changing circumstances, as well as being able to operate with low overheads.
